Battersea Power Station has launched A Station of Stories, a new year-long celebration of storytelling that brings books, creativity and imagination to life across the riverside neighbourhood in celebration of 2026 being the National Year of Reading.

Across the year, Battersea Power Station will host a series of literary moments designed to turn the iconic landmark into a destination for story lovers of all ages. From playful family experiences to ticketed cultural events, A Station of Stories invites visitors to slow down, get creative and rediscover the joy of a good book.

Mr. Men Little Miss 55th Anniversary at Battersea Power Station

It's Mr Tickle's 55th Birthday and you're invited! Mr. Men Little Miss celebrates its 55th anniversary at Battersea Power Station with a month-long programme featuring a free birthday-themed character interactive trail, arts and crafts sessions, character appearances and unmissable in-store activations by Waterstones, Moleskine and The Cinema in The Power Station.

A Station of Stories: In Conversation with Young Adult Authors

For teenagers looking to get creative this summer, Battersea Power Station is hosting 'A Station of Stories: In Conversation with Young Adult Authors' on Sunday 23rd August, from 11am-12pm on Level 1, Turbine Hall A. Designed for teenagers and young readers, the event will explore the joy of reading, creativity and storytelling through a live author panel, before finishing with an interactive writing workshop and audience Q&A.

Horrible Histories Live At The Museum

An Unforgettable Family Experience is coming to Ramses & the Pharaoh’s Gold: The Exhibition. For six weeks only from 27th July at Neon at Battersea Power Station, Horrible Histories is taking over the museum! Take a terrible tour of priceless Egyptian artefacts with the great Ramses himself, to enjoying a laugh-out-loud live performance packed with audience participation, including the infamous Mummy Rap.

Moleskine: Love Letters to Books Scrapbook Event

Moleskine Creative Store at Battersea Power Station will host a free Love Letters to Books scrapbooking workshop on Tuesday 18th August from 5pm - 7pm. All materials are provided (stickers, magazines, paper), but you're invited to bring along your favorite junk journaling materials as well. Tickets go on sale on 1st August

Treasure Island at Arches Lane Theatre

Set sail for Arches Lane Theatre at Battersea Power Station and join for a riotous tale of buccaneers and buried treasure. From 30th July until 16th August, don't miss this new theatrical adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, with three actors bringing all twelve characters to life on stage.

celebrASIA Panel: Telling Stories: Fact & Fiction

celebrASIA festival returns, with the three-day celebration of South East Asian culture, food, music and arts taking place between 11th - 13th September. New for 2026 are a series of literature and culture panel discussions at Arches Lane Theatre, kick starting with 'Telling Stories: Fact & Fiction', which brings together acclaimed authors Ivy Ngeow, Khairani Barokka, Nicola Dinan and Will Harris, to explore how stories can celebrate identity and heritage while confronting difficult truths

Moleskine Reader's Corner: Leave Your Mark

Until September 2026, Moleskine will run an ongoing in-store activation inviting book lovers to share reviews of their favourite reads when visiting their store in Turbine Hall A. These contributions will be collected in a dedicated Moleskine Book Journal, where participants can use the stationery available in-store to write, draw, and creatively decorate their reflections
