Enjoy a summer of family fun at The Chimney Lift

Families are invited to experience London from new heights this summer with a programme of fun activities for all ages running throughout the school holidays. Alongside incredible 360-degree views of London’s skyline from the top of The Chimney Lift, children will enjoy interactive science workshops, take on the ‘I Spy London Landmarks’ challenge and meet Charlie the Chimney, the attraction’s mascot for the very first time.

The summer programme welcomes back Wild Science, bringing its Static Electricity Spectacular on 16th and 23rd August (at 10:30am and 12:30pm). Families can enjoy a “hair-raising” experience, with electrifying demonstrations and hands-on activities that bring the science of static electricity to life. Children will discover the power behind every day electrical phenomena through interactive experiments designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds.

Throughout the summer holidays, young visitors can also take part in the I Spy London Landmarks challenge, as they take in skyline views from the top of The Chimney Lift. Upon arrival, children will receive an activity card and crayons to complete the challenge during their visit before collecting a stamp for completing the activity and sweet treat as a reward. Adding an extra layer of excitement, one child will be selected each week to win their very own Charlie the Chimney soft toy.

New this summer, The Chimney Lift’s much-loved mascot Charlie the Chimney will also be stepping out in public for the very first time, giving families the opportunity to meet him in person before their ascent.

Visitors can stop by for a photo opportunity with Charlie the Chimney on the following dates:

● Thursday 13th August – 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm
● Tuesday 18th August – 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm
● Thursday 20th August – 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm
